::Spring break - fishing

We had such a wonderful spring break - it was a blast having Josh home all week!! We did so much - music videos, game nights, random movie parties, fishing, line dances, jello-hair-tonics, singing, and more.
On Friday mom decided it would be fun to go to Montauk State Park for a fishing day. We called Jeannie up and we were on our way, with sack lunches, fishing gear, and Kelsey to boot!

Our spring-chicken-mother. ;) She still looks like a teenager!! (still goofs around like one too...my mom is the best fun!)

It was the most beautiful day to go fishing! Perfectly clear water, and such a lovely breeze.

We all had fun posing with the fish....

Pose #1 - Kels
Another stunning picture of my little mama. :)

Pose #2 - Jen
Pose #3 - Meg
Brothers and buds - even 14 years apart!

Grandma Jeannie and Stephie. <3

We had fun all over the park - fishing, wading, laughing at funny signs, feeding the fish at the hatchery, eating at the diner, playing the swing set...

Such a happy face!
L-R, Mom, Josh, David, Jen(with John on her lap), and Kels.

The hatchery is so cool - always one of my very favorite parts as a little kid. So many fish cram-packed into such a small place! And it's pretty exciting feeding them, too.

Buying hand fulls of food with our quarters.

One of Josh's many inspirational poses.

And one of Johns....brother see, brother do. ;)

(don't tell anyone...but we stole the food that had fallen from other people....it was Josh's idea anyway. *shh*)

We drove the long way home listening/singing to Disney songs and falling asleep in our fishy, sandy clothes. I love that feeling. Thank you Jesus, for such a special day with such special memories!

Fishing

Well, I told you all a few days ago I'd have these pictures up from our first fish of the spring...here they are! What a great time we had - a new chuzin memory. :)

Gracie, the skilled, serious fisherman. ;)

Sadly, Kels wasn't able to come with us to the duck pond that afternoon, but we're going out again tomorrow, hopefully with more success! Fun fun.

It was such a beautiful day - spring is almost here!!
