Homeschool Craft Party

We went to a fun Thanksgiving/Christmas Homeshool craft party this past week. It was a lot of fun, and we came home with a bunch of bookmarks, snowflakes and ornaments:) Above is Mommy at her craft table. Enjoy some pictures...

Fun Thanksgiving Snack

1. 1 batch of chocolate cupcakes

2. chocolate icing

3. Keebler Sandie's short-bread cookies

4. white icing (for the eye)

5. 1 bag of candy corn (use white tip for the beak)

6. 1 bag of mini chocolate chips--cut off the tips of them for the eyes

7. this will sound funny, but you need a package of candy oranges, but get the red kind:) It's true!! Cut them into strips to make the waddle.

makes about 20 "turkeys"

We all loved making these, and of course loved eating them!! They make a great Thanksgiving snack.

Fall Costume Party

Every year, for a fun fall activity, our family(plus all cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles)get together for what is known to be as The Fall Costume Party. All the cousins get dressed up and we all meet down at my grandparents house for the party to start. We go around the farm playing games, and of course, collecting candy. Enjoy some pictures...

Every year my grandparents go out to one part of our woods and hang a bunch of "Ghost apples:)" Hence, it has earned the name "Ghost Apple Trail." It's always the favorite!

Not quite sure what Connor is doing here..... Admiring his apple I guess!

Daddy's game was a "taste testing game." He blind-folded each kid and gave them something to eat:) Not all of the food was all that good either! Above is Kenton enjoying his cheese cube with elbow noodles:)!! Poor guy...

Prayer Request

I would like to ask everyone to pray for little Johnny boy, as he has come down with Croup. He is at the doctor's office right now, and we are hoping we can stop it before it gets worse!! John is staying pretty happy, so that's helping:) Above he is having one of his breathing treatments. It's so nice to always know that God has his watch-care on us!!! What a blessing and comfort!!!
