Fall Costume Party 2010--Part 1

I have to say, this was about the best one yet. So much fun--everyone's costumes were great. Anytime we crazy relatives get together it's a blast. Fun memories...too much to say:)

Nonnor, playing the famous "Uncle Mark's mystery meal" game.

Here's how it goes:

Uncle Mark himself, "dad," selects a number of food items from the pantry. He then blind folds the player, and mashes together some odd assortment of food, and stuffs it into the player's mouth. The player must then eat all of it, and tell him what it was he was chewing. If he can do this, he wins a prize. Very entertaining.

Church Hayride!!

Josh and I ended up going out to Pfiefers for the church hay ride! It was so much fun and really great to hang out with friends. God blessed with a beautiful night, and we sang hymns all along the trail. A really fun night. Yeah---we even stopped by a grave yard on the way...I am afraid I totally freaked out. *sigh* But really, those little guys didn't have to keep jumping out at me!!
Anyway....I snatched a couple pictures from the evening...enjoy:)

Alrighty..this family has an awesome mail box. It open both sides!! I was truly mystified. I think I will get one myself.....

Haa....Let's just say, that by this time it was completely dark outside...and I think the flash of the camera surprised us all. lol...But I still like the picture. Fun memories.

Fall Costume Party! 2010

Well, now, haven't I been a slacker?? Wow..I really have. I don't think we've ever let this many boring posts come in a row. Wow. Well, good news, to those who care.....:D

I will soon have the most amazing pictures ever!!! Well, almost....I assure you, they will be comical. But, you will have to wait at least two more days.

Tomorrow is the annual Fall Costume Party of the 3rd Day Farm!! All the cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents will gather for about the most fun day of the year. Nearly everyone dresses up, and we go around the farm together playing games and gathering candy. Yes, amazing fun. Can't believe the time has rolled back around to October 30 once again.....wow.

SO I will keep you in suspense, and not tell you who we are dressing up as. I will tell you though....that Josh and I should be quite the pair tomorrow.....stay tuned for pictures. You seriously won't want to miss these.

I miss y'all, and can't wait to see you. And to all my cousins out there---will see you bright and early in the morning! So excited. Oh! And Joely-polie-olie and Ash ash are coming out to spend the night here tonight, so that they can help us get ready in the morning. So much fun.

Wow...this has been the craziest (or I guess I really should say "wacked-out" Bro. Jason.lol) school week ever! First week at Landmark...but I really only get credit for 2 whole days so far. But they have been an amazing 2 days..:) Especially today....today was very amazing.
I am finally getting used (I think...) to scoring, signing slips, flags, quiet, cubicals, no music...so that's good. It's making things much easier. Tomorrow is the last day for the week, then back on Tuesday. Looking forward to the weekend. lol

Well....for now I will say my good nights. "Gonna go get me some shut-eye." Early night. *sigh* Well, sweet dreams to all of you, and a good morning too--since I won't get a chance to say that in the morning:) Miss y'all.

*sigh* side note: Did any of you know that Megan is the least popular gal name of 2010?? Yeah...Colin and I found that out tonight. That's a bit depressing;) lol.

Bleh. I can't go into school today, or anywhere else....cause I am sick. *sigh* I don't very much like being sick. Guess I will use today to pray for all the people who are much much sicker than I. Still...don't like being sick:( Really wanted to make it to my second day of school, but oh well, God  knows. Bummed out...feel bad....hopefully I'll be back up tomorrow? Thankfully I brought a homework slip home for "extra" so at least I can be getting stuff done.

Bluegrass shows

Just got a really exciting email! The Rosa String Works Band, (the one I've played with several times before) asked me and Josh to come perform this Wednesday and Thursday for two big events! We'll be playing most of the show on Thursday, over at Mark Twain Elementary, and along with the band on Wednesday. Really exciting. Hopefully I'll get some pictures. So Josh and I will be brushing up our tunes and getting ready for that. Pray all goes well! Thanks so much y'all!!!

That's a good time.....

WELL.....

How are all my friends?? :) Goodness, I guess I've seen a bundle of you the last 2 days..
Last night was the Seussical kick-off/practice. It was absolutely amazing. WOW. There are so many talented people here:) The cast is amazing, and we are all so excited to start. It was wonderful to see them all again, and at the theater. Got pumped up to the music and score, and did some on stage. Haha....too many funny people in this Fine Linen Family! We always have a ball together. *sigh* Brings back old memories of Pirates...those were the days..lol. So, we'll be making costumes, building set, and all that good stuff till April. Can't wait till performances...but I wouldn't want to miss the time in between...:) Make sure to come and see us in April, it's gonna be a great show!

Today was very interesting. :) Went in with Josh to school for placement testing at LCA. I guess some of you don't know yet, but I'll be starting up there possibly by next week. Lots of details that I won't explain right now.:) BUT, I am excited. Bro. Jason will give me my scores sometime soon....Then I'll be starting! And soon I'll be all fancied-up in my special uniform and everything..lol. Never been to school before, so if you could pray that it'll all go well this year. Hoping it'll be a great growing experience, academically and spiritually. Looking forward to seeing y'all at school soon!

Joely and Ash-Ash are coming over tonight for "Fish Ala Josh," so it should be a fun evening. Then sleep. *ah* Hope to see you soon......maybe even at some soccer games..;)

So...how are you today?? :)

Well, I am soo thankful for today, but I do wish it would go by quickly....sooner we get to tomorrow the better. Seussical kick-off tomorrow!!! I am so excited to be back at the theater with all the Fine Linen Family. I can't wait--can't get Seussical out of my head!!

 I'd better go get busy so I can get my mind on school....ah yes..school. School stuff is getting pretty interesting and crazy and surprising.

Josh has guitar today so we'll all head in to Grandma's for a while later. Then I guess Mom will get him from school and take him on over...and so on and hereto and henceforth.

But for the few hours that I am here I am going to go get some music, (because you *can* study with music...*ehem...co-op people...lol) and hit the books. Hope you all have a tolerable day of school:)
