The cats really enjoy the camera..

The sun was bright, okay?

A nice rainy day

Isn't this weather wonderful?? Ah..I love it. I am about to go out and enjoy God's creation for a while before an evening with my family. Thought I'd stop in and say hey to y'all!
So glad spring is almost here...looking forward to some good four wheeling soon. The time is going by so fast--before too long this school year will already be over! Sure seems like it just started....
Well pals, I'm leaving you now to go on out in this nice rainy day :) Love and miss you all,

Busy days ~ busy, crazy, wonderful days

Another school week in the books..*phew* What a crazy week. Glad to be home with my family for a while. It's nice to come home after a hard day to be greeted with little faces squished against the door window to see you :) I love my family.

Off to Seussical practice here in just a bit, then home for a bit of sleep before a big day tomorrow. We'll be building the set tomorrow (can't believe it's already to this!!) and that'll be a blast. Be there pretty much all day I think. Fun stuff. Keep John Nisbett in your prayers, he's still in the hospital for a while. We miss our bass Wickersham. :)

Hoping you all can catch some rest this weekend, and I hope to see y'all soon. Miss and love you all!

God bless now,

Megs

Happenings and such the like...

Hello all! Wow, it's been awhile since I've posted..so sorry, been very busy with life lately. Let me see if I can fill you in..

Suessical! The play is coming along, and it gets even more amazingly fun every practice. What a great group of people to work and be with. I have enjoyed this production especially a lot, and look forward to it all coming together. Looking forward to performances!
School! School is keeping us all busy, as normal. Jenny is back at home for school along with the little boys. Stephanie looks forward to waking up every day to see all her friends. Josh drops us off and heads off to college classes now..how strange. Before long I'll be the one driving us to school everyday. With a big family when you're so close, I guess it kind of seems like your siblings won't ever be away from you. Things are changing around the Riefer household! Along with regular school, the Landmarkians are all preparing for competition and Talent Meet. Talent Meet is already next Thursday. Exciting.
Siblings! My family sure keeps me laughing. John is full of energy and has been hilarious as always..last night after finishing all his food, he stared at his plate, rubbed his full belly and said, "Yup. I sure am one-of -a-kind strong dude of a man." Oh, and the Riefer quote of the day is, "A frog. With an afro."

Need to head on now folks. I am going to go spend some time with this one-of-a-kind family of mine:) Love and miss you all, and hope to see you soon. God Bless!

Greenness and Wind!

I am so excited, y'all! Spring is really on its way now. I have to say, all the seasons are wonderful, but there is no time of the year like Spring. There is nothing I enjoy more than swimming in the creek, fourwheeling through the trails, running in the open fields, fishing by one of the ponds....being outside. I really love it. I have been so blessed to grow up on the Third Day Farm with all the amazing 20 chuzins. God is so Good!
Yesterday I went out for a few hours just to test the warmer weather :) Didn't y'all just love the wind? Had a beautiful afternoon by the pond and trampsin through the woods. Now if this rain will just leave my farm, a group of us chuzins were planning on going out to test the four wheelers..We'll see how that works out ;)
Well folks, have a lovely Monday, and enjoy this beautiful day God has made. I hope to have some pictures up here very soon, maybe even by the end of today. Now excuse me, I am going to go fetch my overalls and muck-lucks and run through some mud! Goodbye!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

This day, five years ago, two young people were untied together in marriage...

Issac Hall asked me to marry him five years ago today. Ah, it seems like yesterday. We were married then and there at his home by his older brother, Zeke. It brings back so many beautiful memories..
So in honor of this special day, I thought I'd bring up some of the old pictures from our special day...

Enjoy, and Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Stephanie, the maid of honor

The handsome dream-boat groom

The rest of the wedding party, myself, and Zeke, the minister.

True love....

The happy couple. It's been a wonderful five years together. You're sweet Isaac.

Happy Valentine's Day, love you all! :) <3

An evening with friends..

Last night (Saturday evening) was so much fun...Alyssa picked the four of us middle gals up around 5 and we headed off to the English Country Line Dance. We made a stop at Kroger, and it was quite fun walking around in old fashioned clothing in the store. We had quite the ride, and we finally got to the dance. What fun...It was really fun to go to one after not being able for so long, and good to spend time with friends.

Lizzy, Tessie, and myself. We've been best friends for a long time, and have been known as the Three Amigos....it was so much fun to see them both. I love you girls!!

Thanks for stopping in!!

~Psalm 23~

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."   God bless!  ~Jenny

"How many boards would the Mongols hoard if the Mongol hordes got bored?"

Try and say it 3-5 times fast. Weird, I know, but try. It's...well...weird!  Have a good day and enjoy some randomness. You need some every once and a while. =) hehe   ~Jennifer

Busy, Crazy week!!

Hey all! This has been such a wonderful week...got a few pictures to show you!
All week long we had snow days off school, and so naturally the chuzins lived it up. We got together several times and had a time of it..one night especially we had a blast. The "older" chuzins (Kels, Gracie, me, Jen, Colin, Connor, Lyss, and Clara) got together after dark and we hit our hill. It was amazing sledding weather, and our whole hill was covered with ice. It was a great night under the stars with best friends. Great memories.

 The Lotta and Lola...

The Jen and Kels, going down..
==============================================

And we celebrated Stephanie's birthday this week...our sweet Stephie turned 11 years old last Sunday.

The birthday gal.

I love those guys.....lol

Then yesterday was very busy and lots of fun! The 65th annual Pancake Day all day long!! What a great time...lots of folks showed up even with all that snow. Several good friends came to help for the first time(Nisbett crew, Chris, Dan) and many that have been able to help in years past. Thank you for all of your help...we couldn't do it without y'all, and you made it so much more fun!!!

A few pictures..

Ash and me...photo stolen from her blog..;)
Thanks Ash!

And another picture stolen from Sammy's blog!! (thanks)

Joshua and Ryan

The goof balls, Chris and Daniel. These guys kept things entertaining. ;) Thanks for your help!

What do you know, it's Chris!! :D

And today is another busy day. It's been a beautiful Sunday, and thankfully all made it to church this morning as a family! Got to talk with many friends..missed talking to a couple, hopefully can talk to them later. My family has made it a special birthday, and I'll get to celebrate with all the chuzins next week.
As most of you know, today is Super Bowl 2011. We are getting ready to pack up and head to Gogey's to party and watch the game, and eat lots of chips and salsa ;)

Miss you all, and hope to see you soon,

Meg
