Baby Photos

There are four of them...

... they are precious.

Curio made a snug little nest for them in the hay house that Daddy built.

New Life... it never ceases to amaze me.

Our sweet "Kitty Mama", Curio, birthed her second litter of kittens in the early hours of thismorning! Mama and babies are doing quite well, and I will post pictures as soon as I get the chance.

p.s. I think the sickies are beginning to turn the corner, but it's a slow recovery. Thanks for your prayers!
p.p.s. Josh is in St. Clair all day today playing in a basketball tournament - we miss not being able to go watch him!

Oh, The Talent!

The other night we were all eating dinner when Jenny made an amazing discovery!! Yes fokes, she can balance a spoon one her nose!!! Oh this excited everyone, and everyone(Mom and Dad too!) made an attempt to do this trick. I look around the table, and everyone has a spoon on thier nose:) Well, they were trying to, but only Jen and Mama could keep one on:)!!

Adventures In The Kitchen

Yesterday I went into the kitchen to make some nice cool ice tea. Stephie and David decided to be my helpers, so we made a game out of it. I put all of the ice into a big bowl to let them scoop it into the pitcher. It's amazing how easily younger kids can be entertained! They had so much fun...

More sugar...

Just right!!!

Our Friend, Edmund

Yesterday when Mama got home from the store, she brought this little thing in with her. Stephie and David were so excited to see the tiny turtle and they made it up a nice fancy home!It was given the name Edmund, and it has been made quite a big part of things around here:)

Here he is, our friend Edmund.

Nappy Time

This is what happens every time...Johnny loves to play with Mama's curtains, so when he's left in her room for nappy, he gets right to work in pulling them down:) So when we go and check on him, this here is what we find. Precious!:)

Still More Vacation?

I know you're all saying, "How many pictures did they take on vacation?!" Well, I hope you haven't minded very much and this is one of the last rounds:) Here in these we are at the Lincoln Museum in Illinois. We had a great time and hope to go back again someday.

They had a great little play area for kids in the museum called Mary Lincoln's Attic. It had an old fashioned kitchen, which Stephanie loved of course!

We stopped to make some of those smooshed penny things before lunch. The kids were amazed! Josh had a bit more trouble though. "Simply turn the handle," so they tell you:)

And there you have it!!

Breaking for lunch...

Yummy!

Here we are waiting for a tour of the Lincoln home to start. It was supposed to start at 1:00pm, but we are sitting here at 1:25pm waiting for the next tour to start, because we missed the one at 1:00:)

And we're off into the Lincoln home!!(um, I think that's Josh in the left corner:) It looks kinda cool with him there though, don't you think?)

The tour was very worth while and a lot of fun! Several of the things in the home were the very things(and the same as they were then)that Abraham and his family had when they lived here, like the little bookshelf on the right.

Abraham's neighborhood. It was neat to see the houses and the streets and picture him walking down and seeing them too.

Don't you see the resemblance?! Yeah...

Well fokes, that's all for now! Hope you enjoyed them all and be ready for the very last round of vacation pictures soon to follow. God bless!
