Okay folks, it's official...I'm super excited here!Ash and Joely-poley are getting married this Saturday! Well folks, I am off to a brunch at Panera with the Bride's maids and the Bride to be. I am taking the camera and it should prove to be a great photo shoot;) Hmm...exactly one week from today. Ash will be married to Joely, and they will live happily ever after in a castle on the other side of the rainbow. I'm sure gonna miss her. 

So, with all this in mind, I though I'd share some oldies of me and my gal<3 I love you Ash!! You're the best sister I could ever ask for, and I look forward lots of new memories with you and Joel:)

Hey...

So..lots going on. Lots of fun:)
Sunday was great..really great morning and evening services. I got to spend some time talking with Mr. and Mrs. Myers--I look up to them a lot, and I love talking with them, so that was amazing. Got to see a bunch of great friends, and had a good time of fellowship.

BBQ. Last night was so much fun, being with friends, eating (a plus..) and watching a great game of ultimate frisbee. Wish I could've played, but the kids needed watching. Next time:) But it was still so much fun. The two teams were the Butterflies and the Moths...Butterflies were pretty much the winners I think. Well, that's who I was cheering for anyway, so I'm sure they won.lol I think that team was Jenny W, Josiah, Cordell, Daniel, Zeke...pretty much. Fun talking with some dear gal friends. Good to be with friends. God has blessed, that's for sure.

Today. Pretty much school, cleaning, music, baby sitting. Tonight is where the real fun comes in..I mean don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore school, but ya know...lol. Dad will grill his amazing softball burgers and Carl, Susie, Joel, and Ash will come have dinner with us. After dinner-- Mother, Dad, Joely and Ash will finish wedding plans, while Carl, Susie, Josh, and I will jam! Yay. It's always a good time jamming with them.  I've got a bit of a cold though, so I'm really hoping it will be okay for me singing tonight! Right at the moment I sound like a dying goat. (If you have never heard a dying goat...they sound pretty bad.lol)

The wedding. 10 days. My eldest sister gets hitched in 10 days y'all. I am so excited!:) I am very much looking forward to having Joely as a big brother. The plans are coming together nicely, and it's just going to be amazing. I can't wait. Pray for us though...it's very wierd having your sister get married..and I don't know if I'm going to make it through:) Ash has been one of my best friends for almost 15 years and it's gonna be wierd having her go. Thanks a lot, Joel. LOL just kidding bud, you're amazing and I love you too. But really, it's gonna be hard.

So there you go. Add a sick Mama, little pirates running through the house,  and it is a pretty picture. But you know... I woudn't trade it for the world. God is good!!

"Courage to Run"

This year for school, I'm supposed to read a book on Harriet Tubman called "Courage to Run." I'm halfway through and have loved every part of it. I've cried several times, because it gets so aweful and sad. I still love the book, though. It's very inspirational and I encourage all of you to read it. It's written by Wendy Lawton and it's part of the "Daughters of the Faith" series, but guys would enjoy it, too;) Anyway,just thought I'd share that with y'all. Well, another wonderful day ahead:) Nice weather today---it's quickly getting colder though:(

This morning, I got the boys ready for a play day with cousin Carrick, and when I was combing their hair, Dave said: "Meg, can you do it like Ryan this time??" So I did my best. And John declared that all super heroes have spiky hair, so he is running around with spiky hair like a mad man:) Soon Carrick will be here, and it will be a loud house full of three adorable pirates. lol

Last night we went to Ash's 3rd wedding shower, hosted by her future mother-in-law Mrs. Eldredge. It was beautiful, and if they weren't set already, they are now:) So many friends there to bless them, it was so good to see y'all! I especially got to talk with a dear sister in Christ, Sam, which was so nice, since I don't usually get the chance to talk with her. Hope to talk with you again Sunday, Sam! But it was a late night, and I am sleepy now.:)

But now it is time for school, so I'd better skitter on.
 Tonight, lots more wedding preparation stuff with Ash! Wow it is coming up so fast!! Less than 3 weeks, y'all! I am so excited!!! <3

Hmm...wow. It is an amazing feeling to sit here in a nice, cozy chair, nice, cozy pj's, with my nice, cozy family..;)lol

After a full day of mowing, burn piles, flat tires, skunks, chain saws, school, indian attacks, Simon Says, and a trip to town with m' ladies, there is not a better feeling than sitting here:)!! God is Good. So good. And to top this wonderful day off, the Lord has made a gorgeous sun-set. God has blessed us. 

I have the most amazing family ever!! Wow, sometimes I look at us and wish it was a movie, so I could watch the episodes over again.:) I love my family to pieces, and they love me back. What a wonderful feeling.
Now, I am going to go give a big hug to my family and call it an early night. My Josh will have to go to school tomorrow so I want to talk with him before I go to bed. *sigh* Busy week ahead..hopefully see you soon. I miss you all like crazy.

So this morning Johnny was playing "I Spy" in the living room.

 He called me in and said, "Meggy, I found the horsey ploom!!"

My obvious response, " What horsey ploom??"

He pointed to the saddle and said, "The horsey ploom right there, to ride the horses!!"

There you have it. All this time we have been calling it a "saddle." Pfhh. Good to have a baby genius around. 

Good day today:) Well, every day is wonderful. God is good. 


Started my day off by playing about 100 rounds of ring-around-a-rosie with my early-bird brothers. After recovering from being incredibly dizzy, I had breakfast and got ready for school. Then barn chores..poor Jackie was all soaked from the rain so I took care of him for a bit. 


School wasn't bad today! ;) Hopefully I am all ready for co-op tomorrow. (yay) After I got school done, I took a nice run in the rain. I love rain when there's no lightening! I hung out for about an hour in the barn with the cats and bugs:) We listened to the rain and sang some songs and practiced for auditions.


 I will be going to auditions tomorrow, for Fine Linen's production of Seussical, so if you are thinking about me around 5:30pm tomorrow, please pray for me:) I would appreciate it lots. I'm not too nervous, but mostly excited. I can't wait to see all you Fine Linens again. I miss you all!!!


I guess the weather is changing. *sigh*  I was actually cold enough to bring out the Ohio State Football sweatshirt again!! (That's the official sign that the weather has changed.) Goodbye warm weather. It was nice knowing ya. We should all start planning sledding get-togethers now, so we can go through with them by winter;) I'll have to say goodbye to the four wheeler before too long too. :'(

Wedding?? What wedding?? ....it's comin up fast.

Ash and Joel came over last night to do some wedding planning and have dinner with us. And you know, to hang out with me;) lol

The wedding is sneaking up on us so fast!! Got about four weeks left to have Ash to myself....

So the three of us (Ash, Joely-polie-olie, and me) stayed up after everyone else went to bed and packed and put together all the invitations, till probably 10-something pm :) And we listened to their reception music tracks. Fun times.
Love you guys!! You're the best and you're just so adorable;)lol

Breanna and Me!!

Mt very dear friend, Breanna, and I got to spend an afternoon together last week:) We had a blast. We had a lovely picnic, and solved the world's problems, took pictures, sang, and practiced for auditions. We had a lovely time, didn't we, Bre??;) Oh yeah, and we wrote some letters....lol don't ask.!!

Well so far it has been a wonderful morning. Well day I guess.

Woke up and did barn chores...Jackie Boy broke his line again. (ug) Got that taken care of.
Came inside, got the boys ready for the day and read books with them for a bit. Sent them down to Aunt Livia's around 9am for a play day:)
Hmmm....did lots of school (whoohoo) so far high school isn't terribly horrible. lol :D Ate a nice lunch, cleaned the kitchen, made a craft with Stephanie, and now here I am with you! Then it will be off to practice for Seussical auditions, then down to finish school:)
Wow. Sounds good to me;) How's your day going? Wish I could be spending it with you--hopefully I can see/ talk to y'all very soon. Enjoy the last of the warm weather before Fall.

Ash's 2nd Bridal shower!

Jen and I went to Ash's second bridal shower on Sunday afternoon, hosted by Ashley's maid of honor, Becky Hall. It was a wonderful shower, and Ash had a great time. Fun memories...

Plus lots of food..so ya know, that made it even better;) btw...that cheesecake was awesome.

Okay, so this game was interesting....I've seen it done before but I've never played:)
So, you break up into two teams, and one girl on each team is chosen to be the "model." The rest of the team dresses her in a toilet paper wedding gown, and the bride chooses the winner.
Yes.

So I was the chosen model of team #2....and here my lovely designers are professionally outfitting me for my wedding.

The finished product. Pretty awesome, I know.

Fun shower. Really lovely Becky. Ash really enjoyed it!!

btw, I know y'all are dying to know, so I will tell you...I won the toilet paper game. Yes. lol Whoohoo!! :D
