This morning was a beautiful morning!I just had to get the camera out and take some pictures...

A spider web...well,
I think they're neat;)

bug... sorry, I'm not in a very creative mood today! Look at the plant/weed it's sitting on. It looks like some sort of an"oat flower:)" If any of you know what kind of plant it is, please let me know;)!!

Another web

And lastly, Holly and her little kitties:)

Ok, Megan, I LOVED the spider web pictures! Those webs are soo beautiful in the morning when you're just on a walk by yourself. :)
I need to get out more. :)
Thanks Alyssa! Oh and I never could have taken those unless you showed me that special mode on the camera! It makes a HUGE difference in the pictures clearness;)Thanks. Can't wait to see you next!

P.S.
We really missed you at the game last night!!Boo-Hoo:( Hope you can make it to the next one.
The only reason why I didn't go to this one was so that I can go to the next one. I wasn't in the best mood last night anyway... I would have been annoying to be around..
I'll see you on Wednesday. :)
Well Alyssa,I guess it was a good thing that you didn't come to the b-ball game last night, because NOBODY wants to be around YOU when you're crabby!lol!J/K!!We really missed you:( I hope you can come to the Wednesday game!!!
Megan the "oat flower" in your picture is an English Plantain, or "Plantago lanceolata" as the scientific name geeks would call it ;)
Nice pictures by the way :) Whenever I get my new camera in the mail, it is designed to be able to focus on stuff that is actually touching the lens!!
oh yea, I had fun in the sandbox this evening ;)
CUL8R!
Matt,
Yeah, I've never heard of a Plantago Lanceolata before;)Thanks for telling me though. You know, why do scientists have to come up with wierd names like plantago lanceogo?!Oat plant is much easier to remember;)!!
I'll be watching your blog for the pix of last night in the sandbox. It was a lot of fun!I'm glad you could come!Hey if nothing else,we sure learned our rights from our lefts;0!!J/K!Bye now,
~meggy
In case you are wondering, the "bug" is a Hoverfly. Regarding how scientific names are created, scientists use latin words that mean things. For example, on the Pictus Catfish, Pimelodus pictus, pictus is derived from the latin root "picta" which means "painted".
Anyway, thought you might find that interesting,
Brandon
P.S. Keep up the good work on the blog!
