Let the Vacation Album Begin!

Each evening at Bair Lake Bible Camp, the kiddos would be divided into groups for a Bible lesson and game time. This is David with his counselor friend, Emily. She was amazing!! (As were the rest of the directors and staff!)

We had volleyball games every day of camp! Sometimes all the little kids would join in for some crazy fun, and other times we would have a game for just 12 year olds and up. These pictures are of the "big kids" playing.

As you can see, Mama had a lot of fun!

Daddy and Mr. Hazell (a.k.a. "Uncle Papa") were so nice to keep the little ones occupied while the rest of us participated in a scavenger hunt. Here they are all playing a game of washers.

David, experiencing a rare down moment.

In which two of my siblings are caught in rather unflattering poses.

This year, the camp held their first annual carpet-ball tournament for the teens and kids! Above is the layout of brackets and on the far right of the poster is the name of the winner. "Ashley"... as in Ashley Riefer. Yes, that would be me - I'm sure you all are laughing out loud about that one. Trust me, I am too! :)

Many more pictures soon to come.....

Megan, Is Friday the dance? If so, neither Ashley or Elise or I can come. Or any of the girls on V and JV. Varsity and JV have both got games in Lebanon and it is quite a drive. I hope the dance is not then, I have had to miss the last three dances. It looks like you had a ton of fun! Great pictures. Whoever took them has a real eye for photography! -Shaylynn

Shaylynn,
Yes, we're going to have to miss the dance. :( The only consolation is that we'll be getting to play volleyball!
