The wedding

Wow...that was fun:) The last two/three days have been some of the most amazing days I have lived through.

Well y'all, as we speak, Mr. and Mrs. Joel Eldredge are on their honeymoon. *sigh* Bitter/sweet. I will miss my Ashy, but she has not really gone anywhere I guess...and now I have the greatest brother-in-law ever.

Yesterday was truly wonderful. Getting up very early, finishing setting tables, checking sound systems, freezing ourselves in the wind, fixing lights...Thanks to all of y'alls that came to help. Wow..many hands make light work. Plus, it was so fun hanging out with all my new "brothers" from the Eldredge family. They only have tried to kill me once during this experience, which I greatly appreciate. Andy and Dan tried to shove me under the moving garage door...but I was saved. They gave me a rain check. They are all pretty awesome. I have never been teased more than I have by these bros this week. Fun times.

Then off to the church at 3:00. We were met by an ecstatic Joely waiting by the door to greet us. I have never seen a more happy guy. All craziness from then on, getting ready, bumping into walls, laughing, pictures, practicing, singing. People start arriving at 5pm, and we go into hiding. All is ready and the wedding started at 6pm. One by one we walk down, and the amazing ceremony began.

We all held it together pretty well I think. I didn't loose it till the vows. Alyssa, poor thing, was balling the whole time:) haha. So many people there. Wow. I just wish I could have had more time to talk with y'all! It was so crazy.. I could barely get from one person to the next. But so much fun...so much fun.

Of course the reception followed, out here on the hill. Beautiful. It really turned out beautiful. Ash and Joel loved it all. So good to see friends there.

And then they went on their way..off to who knows where:) And now here I sit, missing them, and thinking over all the events of the last days. And looking forward to the times ahead...
