Just in case you were wondering...

A Jiffy:
The earliest technical usage for jiffy was defined by Gilbert Newton Lewis (1875–1946). He proposed a unit of time called the "jiffy" which was equal to the time it takes light to travel one centimetre (approximately 33.3564 picoseconds).[2] It has since been redefined for different measurements depending on the field of study.[3]

A Moment:

1.
an indefinitely short period of time; instant: I'll be with you in a moment.
2.
the present time or any other particular time (usually prec.by the ): He is busy at the moment.
3.
a definite period or stage, as in a course of events; juncture:at this moment in history.

So there you have it. Good to know, right?!=)
