Today has been a good start of it--the morning was spent doing various jobs all around the house with my little helpers, David, Stephie, and Johnny. We mopped and vacuumed floors, wiped windows, sorted through drawers, and other odd projects. Once they were tired out we made a craft out of a good healthy snack (I know, I know...but I've never agreed with "don't play with your food." There's a time and a place for everything..:D) We were little bees in a hive, and we "sipped out nectar" and "stung" our little food-man's face with toothpicks and ate him to bits! It was a grand time, and then the kids settled down to a movie while I prepared for lunch. Now it's been a while, lunch has been devoured, and we'll be reading some books and putting the two boys down for naps. Then I'm off to my room for some time to myself for planning of sorts, for next school year. Who knows what will come next school year....! Isn't it funny though, I already miss my school mates very much and hope we can do things often. I had to send some letters yesterday to my little kindergarten pals--I miss them like crazy!
And all you Fine Linens out there, we really need to do something..I miss you so very much and need to see you soon! It's so weird after you've gotten used to seeing dear friends so often, when you suddenly aren't seeing them very much at all. We'd better meet at Wal-Mart soon or something....
Well, I'd better get back to my things and let you get on with your beautiful summer's day. I'm hoping to catch some wind later on the four wheeler when Josh gets back from fishing. Ahh..God is so good. Make sure to get out in this wonderful weather He's given us if you get the chance!
