Just got back from a fantastic Jeannie night with the chuzzin clan. Made some fun memories out in the woods with poison ivy, dirt, bugs, and a very hot sun. The very best kind of fun! ;) Quote of the evening: "Well that'll make you think twice before you run away from an orphanage again!"
Found big patches of wild gooseberries and made a delicious stew....and ate it. Complete with raw rice, beans, dirt, etc...not as good as some we've made, but not bad for out in the "wild." :) Came back hot and sweaty, but very happy, and finished the night off with ice cream and duck-duck-goose. A perfect evening.
Now I am home, getting nice and cozy for a good summer's night. When Daddy comes out we're all going to watch "Hogan's Heroes" and head to bed. I love my family...they're just the best. I don't think there's hardly a moment out here when all is not incredibly joyful and happy ~ what a blessing from the Lord!! I have so much to be thankful for.
