Today is a strange, emotional day for the Riefers...Just about 2 hours ago I watched my Mom and Dad drive my brother away to college....*sigh* Now I know my brother will only be within 30 minute's driving time, but this is still a hard adjustment for us. I don't have hardly one memory that doesn't have all my siblings in it. Ever since I can remember, we've been a unit. A team. The Clan. Now all of this is changing. We're starting into a whole new phase of life. It's hard saying goodbye to that....
Now so that I don't get to crying, I won't go and tell you all the amazing things about my brother Josh, all he's done for me over the years, all he's taught me, all our special talks, and memories together....there, now, you've got me ready to cry already. :) I couldn't ask for a better young man to call my brother.

He has always been very smart, talented, funny, loving, and strong in his walk with the Lord. I know many look up to him as a Christian example, myself included.
He makes me laugh all the time...he's the only one who can make me laugh when I really don't want to. ;) Oh goodness, he knows how to make me smile.:)
Ha - He's made lots of friends over the years and I know he'll find some great friendships at college. I'm excited for him.
Mmm...I will miss you, Josh. Thanks for loving me like you do.
Come home soon -- I'm just dying to break out in "A Whole New World!" :)
