So, as you know, us chuzzies are very close. When one is apart for very long at all, it's a sad thing. I mean, the four of us girls are almost always, the four of us girls. But sadly, Gracie hasn't been with us for almost 2 weeks now. *sniff* So, when Kels was over to play one day, we came up with a plan.
We went to the basement and started drawing up some patterns...
stitched a few things here and there, made a few tucks, cut a few strips...
and here, we have the outline, of Blanche, of Utopia. (pronounced, "Blanchie") What could touch Gracie's heart more than to make her this beautiful creation? Now it was time to stuff Blanche and bring her to life.
Kels put in the heart...
I made a few items of clothing...
and Viola!
Friends, meet Blanche. Blanche of Utopia.(a distant relative of Bertha, for those of you who have followed us for long) In a few minutes Blanche will be tucked nicely in a little basket and left on Gracie's doorstep, with a note that reads, "Miss Gracie: Please take care of Blanche. Blanche of Utopia."
Ah. There is nothing more satisfying than to sit back and admire a job well done.
