Oh, craziness!

It's crazy how plans change. :)
Yesterday was a wonderful day. Different, but wonderful just the same, and once again I was reminded not to hold onto my own plans too tightly, and just be open to whatever God might have for a day - cause it's usually way better than what I planned. It's too easy to be caught up in schedules and plans...and pretty soon we miss the little bundles of joy He sends around each and every corner. I think I need to be reminded that it's God's day, not mine. And you know...He's got a 'To Do List' for Megan also, which I too often excuse in keeping my own!! Each and every day He's got a plan...things He wants to accomplish that day through me. How awesome is our God, and how cool to be used by Him if we'll only let go of our plan??

Yesterday, my plans were totally turned upside down (or should I say right side up?) to what HE had in mind.;)
I headed into town (as the first change of plans!) with Alyssa, Gracie, and Jen to pick up Kels. We were all going to head over to the theater to clean and stay for the opening of You Can't Take It With You. Turns out Kelsey couldn't go, which made us all pretty bummed. Still, we got to say hello to a few friends that we otherwise would not have seen. We cleaned with friends at the theater and watched the show that night. (btw, wow! What a show! Make sure you get tickets now - you won't want to miss this!) After the show we were about to head home, when we got calls telling us not to drive home in the snow - the back roads in the country were too slick. Oh, goodness, that was not my plan. Ah, but Gogey lives in Rolla, so we made our way over to her house to stay there. And He sure does work in mysterious ways - I seriously happened to have all my night stuff with me. In town. I never take that with me anywhere..why would I? But God knew I'd spend the night in town and here I had them. How good is He?? And since He knew we'd get stuck in town, He made sure Kelsey would go home with her mom so she could get to school the next day. And I spent a snow-bound sleepover with my cousins and grandma, enjoyed a good breakfast this morning, watched a fun movie with them, and now safe and sound back home.
I know half of you probably don't have any interest in that long story, but I just had to share it. It's just too cool to me to see God's hand in everyday life. That He would look down on me, and care enough to make me pack some pj's...I've got a big smile on my face today, realizing how much He care for you and me!

Have a happy Friday all, and watch out - I'll just bet He's got a plan for your day. :)
