An Update? With pictures?!

Hey bloggers! I know this must be quite a shock here..me posting, with pictures even. Are you ready for my excuses? Here you go: *ehem* First, it takes a while to load pictures...and since I do school, I often don't have time for much except a quick pop-on update or email. Then, without pictures to show you, I figured y'all were probably getting tired of my stories. :) So I decided to wait till I had the chance to give you more of a *real* update, and here it is.
Grandparent-hood, Uncle-hood, and Aunt-hood is being soaked up around here. We grow only more attached to our sweet Evan every day! He is growing healthy and strong and has developed a nice double chin(of which his Auntie is very fond of)...As far as nephews and babies go in general, he's the very best there is. Just so you know.
 Getting spoiled by his Uncles...

Go Fish is the game around here recently. After school several of us go for the deck of cards and we all get into a circle...so far John is undefeated, as usual.

 Big boy!

John, as always, is cracking us up, day after day. Second by second, actually. :) He's always right there in the middle of everything making some way-too-smart-for-his-age comment.

 And other just-random-everyday-things...

Cousins are scattered throughout the days too, of course! :)

So thankful for this great weather we've been having...today I enjoyed a lovely walk through the woods with Stephanie, and we sang and talked and laughed. Then I got to spend the rest of the afternoon with Gracie, Kels, and Jen at the Farm House! Ahh...good day. I had good food in a cozy house with my family, and tried to teach Steph, David, and John to play signs(yeah, that didn't go very well..;)and we're reading stories with Mama before bed time. God is good.
Stay warm and healthy, everybody! See you soon - BIG week coming up! :)

More soon,

-m-
