It's a Friday
Good day, bloggers!
While we wait for pictures, and while I have a minute to update you, I'll fill you in on lately-happings. Yesterday was a fantastic day - such a gorgeous day outside and I couldn't wait to get outdoors as soon as school was done. Jen and I called Gracie and decided to go fishing at the duck pond. We grabbed our polls, knives, and tackle and went to push off the boat. Sadly, it was pretty windy and there wasn't much excitement other than a few bites...still, we had a blast together on the water. Half the fun of fishing is just being outdoors! It was great fun and I'm anxious for this cold day we're having today to skitter on its way and bring the spring on! That first fishing trip always gets me excited for four wheelling, hikes, more fishing, and all the other farm adventures with the cousins! I can't wait. I'll get pictures on here of our adventure just as soon as this computer learns to cooperate...
Gracie was called inside so we pulled the boat in and went on home. As soon as we put all the gear away Papa gave a call saying he was going to Colin and Drew's last basketball games, and that he would be happy to take us. We had such a fun ride into the game talking about old farm memories. I'm so thankful to live so close to my grandparents - I don't know what I'd do without them! We had a great time at the game, and were met by Abby, Josiah, Brady, and Kayla Ymker and few other friends.

Tale of Two Cities is going well - I just can't believe it's already set-building time!! I'm so excited as it's all coming together - the best fun is about to be had. :) I'll try extra hard to bring home some pictures from practice tonight. The songs are so much fun and are sounding beautiful. I get chills each time I hear them.
School is busy as ever, but so nice. I'm surprised at how fast this Sophomore year is going by - and what a great year it's been! Every day I just smile, realizing I am here at home, so blessed to be surrounded by this wonderful family I've been given. The kids keep everything bright and cheerful, and each day here is a treasure...such fun and adventures we have. :) Oh, what a crazy family this is - I am so glad to be a part of it.
And speaking of this crazy family, they are marching in here ready to switch to the next task, and Stephanie now needs her computer time. ;) On with the rest of the day now, and a happy Friday to you all!!
