"That is a good day in which you make someone happy. It is astonishing how little it takes to make one happy."

It's a Friday

Today is one of lots of housework, with music playing in the background for double motivation. (Artists including Josh Groban, Jackie Evancho, Jack Johnson, and Frank Sinatra. Quite the jumble of genres, eh?)
As soon as the afternoon comes along we'll be packing up and getting ready to head off to the Tale of Two Cities cast party! Very excited to get back together with the cast and have a real good time - potluck, frisbee, volleyball, playing in the creek, murder in the dark, signs, the name game, music, etc etc! I can't promise that I'll come home with pictures, because I know I'll be super busy joining the fun, but I can say that I will do my best. :-)
School is fast coming to a close, and I am so ready to get on to summer. Although it won't be much of a 'summer break,' with lots of work to be done and tons to accomplish, I'm excited to get on to the new things! A lot of really neat opportunities that I'm looking forward to. Even though I'll be busy, I'll have plenty of time for making fun memories, so if you want to do something, give us a call! Josh and I are hoping to make lots of fun summer plans.
Last night, we got an invitation from Chris to meet him and some other friends at the park for sand volleyball and frisbee. We packed Josh, Colin, Drew, Kenton, Gracie, Kelsey, Jen, and myself into the suburban and had a great time. Just the car rides themselves with us chuzzies can be better than the event itself! :-) Lots of singing, laughing, jokes....
Volleyball was fun and it was a beautiful night to be out at the park. We were hoping more people would show up - disappointing that they could make it - but we still had a good little game going with our small group. Hoping to do that lots more throughout the summer months!
Now there's your little update for today - it's back to cleaning and scrubbing I go! Enjoy this lovely Friday, and I shall see lots of you tonight.

In other Riefer news, Johnny has rekindled an old flame with his old bouncy seat that we brought up for Evan. He's not to be outdone by his own nephew.
