::Lately

Oz ended this past Sunday! Although I had so much fun and miss everyone so badly already, I am relieved that performances are through so I can rest up these "injuries!" I went to the doctor a couple days ago, and it is declared that I have a sprained neck and ankle. I've got a cool brace-cast-thing to wear for at least 2 weeks to allow it to heal. Pictures coming soon, because I know you all want to check it out and laugh. ;-)

Everyone in the show was so good to me during the performances on my sprained ankle - there was always a helping hand right by me or someone to check on me. I'm so grateful I got to still perform every show, even with the accident. And isn't it crazy - my neck got worse the very night the show ended. God is good.

Cheyenne, Lena, Gracie, me, and Mrs. Dalton. I love these ladies a lot.

Now that the show had ended, I can catch you up to present-day, filling in for the other activities that kept me so busy the last month! Here goes...

We went to see Brave in theater.
With lots and lots of friends.
Although it wasn't my favorite movie, it was lots of fun, and we had a good time laughing all night, and ended the evening with ice cream at DQ.
Alex, Jen, Kathy, and Kels...plus their "Sign Family."

Next, we had a sleepover with these girls:
Cheyenne, Lena, Kelsey, Gracie, Jen, and me. Gogey let us come over after Thursday's performance, and we stayed up like crazies till 4am, and had a fantastic time. We had lots of ice cream, watched a Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers movie, talked, laughed, took pictures, made videos, and performed some pretty terrific prank calls. It was a very impressive evening.
I just realized that Jen looks a ton like me in this picture...weird. We must be sisters or something.

Next on the list:
Dad bought donuts. They were delicious, of course.

Moving on: Chuzin birthday parties.
Bonus fact: Did you know that Cassia and Carrick McCluskey share the same birthday? Two siblings, born several years apart, but on the same day. Interesting, eh?
We celebrate them each year on separate days, so we've had two parties in a row. Fun. Double the cake, laughing, singing, dancing, etc.
And Eric and Punky were here all week!! (Remember the Sawyers?) We had lots of fun with them, including the birthday parties, pranks, Rocky Balboa movie night, and Fourth of July! We can't wait till they come back again.

Well, yeah, I sprained my neck and ankle, which means I can't get around very fast. The chuzins find it very amuzing to take a bunch of goofy pictures of me, spray me with water, and other teazings, seeings how, well, I can't move. I make for a pretty easy target. Pitiful, right?
It's ok. Good thing is, I love them all.

Last night was an amazing fourth of July celebration with lots of good friends - we had so much fun. Pictures soon to follow - it was quite the night.

Until then, have a wonderful Thursday!

Sorry Drew, fresh outta them. I'll have my people call your people when we do.
Lena - same fall, I was just paying attention to my ankle and worked my sprained neck really bad. :( I whipped it back when I fell...woke up Sunday night and couldn't move. No fun, but I'm doing better now in my cast. :) Love you and miss you!! :O
