Spring Break '13

We've been planning this for..well, since we left Ohio the last time. Although we've been so busy, waiting for this has made the last seven months seem like forever!
If you've followed us for long, you already know the Snyders, and probably the Ohians too. We weren't sure when we'd get back to see them this year, so we kids began scheming. We didn't really think it would work out for Josh and me to travel several states away, but two weeks before the set dates things fell into place and off we were. To Ohio. To the Snyders!
First stop:  check.
The road trip was smooth, and we had such a good time talking, singing, getting completely confused by the map, being tourists and taking pictures. I think people along the way were quite amused with us.
We found the singing bush. Stop 2: check.

Crossing over!

King of the sewer hill. Stop 3: Check.

We took a break at Loves, sitting on the curb, munching chips and salsa and having a grand time. Stretched out and got back on the road for the last leg of the trip. Almost there!! Stop 4: check.

We finally pulled into their driveway(it was a beautiful sight to see, waited for for so long.), to see them standing on their front porch and motioning us to stop. We got out of the car. They were trying to get the Barbie destiny theme song to play(as they had set up the CD player on the porch),  The sweet music finally started playing(even though we couldn't hear a thing...the volume isn't very high) and we all started running slow motion towards each other. Then faster, and faster, until we were all in a group hug in the middle of the cold yard. How I MISSED these people.

We rushed inside and upstairs and began talking and laughing and catching up. A lot happens in seven months, but we pick up where we left off.

Sunday morning we went to their wonderful church and got to see all our other friends...they didn't know we were coming until that morning so it was super fun to walk in on them. :-) It was soo good to see everyone. I can't believe we made it.

After church we(us, the Snyders) went out to lunch with the Allisons(Meg and Emily). More laughing, talking, catching up...Such fun. We went back to Snyders for a break and then back into town that evening to meet everyone at the gym for volleyball and sugns.

Back at the Snyders for a bit before going to the gym...

Elizabeth.....so angelic.

I love her to death! I miss you so much,  Liz.

Back for volleyball! It's now tradition to spray our hair and use war paint for our volleyball matches. With Meg and Emily - I missed them SO.

With lovely Olivia.

Sniefers attempting tough faces.
We can hardly keep from laughing.

Movie! "Is that with Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway? Naw, it's the guy from Psyche." ;D Oh, Michaela...

Monday morning after a fun breakfast and lazying around, we began down to business. We made a makeup/hair tutorial with Josh and Lizzy's hands. It's hilarious. The video will be posted soon. :-) Oh, good, good times...

Preparing lunch! My favorite recipe!

Off to cash the Sniefer fund - suck 'em right up those tubes!
We had fun guessing how much was inside....Jack won.

The drivers -

Stop for ice cream! "What's a black raspberr??" Now we know...:-)

Pinkies unite.

We went to Big Lots and tried on every single pair of sunglasses and each bought a pair.
So classy.

Oh. That's the one.

Exactly, it's what you have to do.

Matching!

We then walked around Walmart in our sunglasses with British accents and lettuce.

Snow on Spring break! Yes!

Sniefers: Josh, Olivia, Lizzy, me, Kayla, and Jack.

More coolness in our sunglasses.

Snowman construction...

Our snowman has a fu manchu and an afro. Fabulous.

Fred Carlos, complete.

We try to have fun together....

Back to the gym on Tuesday to hang out with everyone on our last night there...we talked, watched videos, played volleyball, signs, ate, laughed more.....and took some crazy pictures....and laughed more.

Ryan!
Em and Lizzy -

Sad faces for the last night. :-(

The hair spray stuff worked really well! My hand was orange for two days....

Annnd then these two got my phone and photo bombed and texted my friends back home!

Two of my besties!
The gang -
Back row: Michael, Josh, Jeremiah, Nate, Tommy, Ryan, Tyler
Middle: Michaela, Liz, Olivia, Jack, Alanna, Will
Front: Breanna, Emily, me, Meghan
I already miss you all soo much!

On the way back home...
It was a fantastic trip. I can't tell you how many memories and inside jokes we fit into five days. I'll never forget it! We made it home safely, and now trying to get adjusted back home and recover from intensive Ohio withdrawal.
So long, Ohio, for now. See you again sometime soon!
