I just love that expression on his face! David was at the dining room table drinking his very full cup of milk while I was cleaning in the kitchen. Suddenly I heard something splash onto the floor, and this little voice say, "Uh oh." I rounded the corner into the next room and met the adorable culprit, frantically cleaning up his spill with a napkin!
Little ones have the amazing ability to make everyday life quite eventfull... how we view those events and let them affect our lives is up to us. We can go through them with frustration and complaining, or we can allow them to continually fill our hearts with joy and love. Jesus was terribly busy during the years of His ministry on earth, yet He always found time to reach out and love the children. Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." ~ Matt. 19:14 The Lord says that if we would enter into His kingdom, we must be humbled as the little children! He desires that we would learn to love Him with our whole being, with the same unrestrained affection as a child shows when hugging his daddy around the neck. Dear friends, do we long for a part in the kingdom of our Father? Let us daily come before His throne asking that our hearts would be humbled, that we may learn to love as little children.
Alive in Christ,
Ashley
