business...

Hey everybody--
It's Friday already! It really seems like the last two days really sped by...but so many great memories stuffed into them.
Yesterday was the first day of Vacation Bible Camp with Landmark, and it went great! I was in the group helping with the 4and5-year-olds--I was put in specific charge of three sweeties, Kira, Trae, and Levi. We had bunches of fun together on the play ground, fishing, water fights, crafts, stories...I think I most enjoyed times at the swings. :)
After VBC yesterday, Josh and I went over to the Hickles with some friends to talk, play frisbee, soccor, basketball, and have fun! It was wonderful and I really enjoyed it...good friends, good times.
Today was another exciting day at the camp. Over all our little kids were very sweet and well behaved, and I just loved being able to be a witness to those children. It's hard saying goodbye to them when you so want to spend so much more time! The two days at camp went so quickly, but it was a real blessing for me, and I can't believe it's over!
It was neat to be with a lot of friends there also, even though most of the time we were working in different groups. Some people were kinda busy with the other people a lot of the time, and at the moment I am kind of confused. Ha, but overall it was a fantastic day and went beautifully. I am thankful that I got to be a part of it.

And Saturday has finally come around the corner! Tomorrow will be a full day from sunup to sundown, with mowing, cleaning, baking, games, water, music, and *haying!* Summer has officially arrived. :) It will be great fun and I hope to give lots of pictures after the weekend! The many joys of farm life...haying is right up there with the best of 'em. Please pray for fine weather for this adventure and safety for everyone! It will be a memorable evening, and a very, very late night. ;D

Also, with the fourth of July right around the bend, lots of preparations are being made toward that event! Always an exciting time, it will be even better with John and Jeanette able to be back from Russia to join us again. God is good, and I can't wait for the day to be here. Let us always remember the price paid for our freedom, and let us never take it for granted. Thank you, men and women of service to our country!!!

Now I will say good evening...much to do in little time, and I am feeling quite..completely worn out. I am looking forward to hitting my nice bed tonight and have some time to think through every moment of the last two days...love and miss you all, and see you, most likely, sometime this weekend! :)
