Hey all! Haying was a success...we brought all the bales in in less than 2 hours and had an awesome time doing it!! I don't know when I've had so much fun...we made so many fun memories, and I think it was the best year yet. Enjoy the first round of pictures...
(Several stolen from Alyssa's blog..!) Benjamin..."working." ;) haha, glad you could make it this year, Ben!! :D You're great fun.
One of the packs of workers...
The trailer home...So, it's tradition for the gals to soak the guys when they get back from the bales--but THIS year, Jacob Hamacher, (bad boy..ha!) snuck back and stole all our water balloons! We gave him a good fight for them though, and managed to steal back lots. There was a regular water war going on down there in the woods--SO fun. :D We all came back quite soaked and happy.
The gals follow along by the guys to hand out water bottles and take pictures..
The one. The only. The Jeni Steele.
Jen and Jen. :) These girls are way too much alike are wayyy too fun to watch. :)
Joy and I took Ryley on the yellow bird with us--he is such an amazing kid. He was laughing and screaming the whole way.
As always, before haying and supper we played volleyball, frisbee, soccer, etc...
It was soo hot outside, but such a beautiful day.
After dark, once we're all nice and drying off, we come inside to play instruments and sing together. You can only see a few people here, but the room was very full of people. About my favorite time of the evening. :)
Ahh....God is good. Now it's over, and we'll have to wait another year for it to roll around again. Till then, we'll look back through the wonderful memories. More pictures coming soon!!
Meg
