Wonderful weather, delicious pot-luck food(and ice cream sundaes!) great friends, fun sports, and beautiful fireworks on a black sky to top of the evening. It was a great night.
It was fantastic to have Eric and Punky(and kids!) here that night too. Eric was quite thoughtful, noticing that I couldn't join any of the games because of my sprains, and he tied red/white/blue balloons to my crutches...he also drew on the back of my neck brace: BIFF QUEEN with lots of stars. How thoughtful. He cracks me up. :-)
Kels and I had a blast on the hill taking pictures of ourselves waiting for the fireworks...then viewing them and laughing our heads off.
Above, our "When is it gonna start?" face.
"Oh, look, they're going up in the air!" face.
"FIREWORKS!" face.
"Ok that one was bright" face.
"Wow, wasn't that great?" face.
"Waiting for the next one" face.
Thanks Daddy, and all the other dads that helped create a wonderful fireworks show!! Thank you God, for America, for the freedoms we enjoy. And for a beautiful night to celebrate it with.
